About the Series
The Perennials are a limited series of 100 site-specific, solar-powered sculptural landmarks forming one interconnected artwork across the world.

Origins of the Series
The Perennials were born from resilience in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, rooted in an effort to bring solar-powered generators to Puerto Rico.
From that experience emerged an artistic vision that has evolved beyond the island, exploring universal themes of diaspora, energy independence, sustainability, solidarity, and the enduring human capacity to adapt and regenerate.
Inspired by windborne seeds, each one-of-a-kind, self-sustaining, serviceable sculpture carries its own story, taking root in a new place while remaining part of a worldwide constellation of interconnected art.
Together, these one hundred works transcend borders, uniting distinct communities and cultures within one collective work of art.
